Top Radiative Corrections in Non-minimal Standard Models
We derive the one-loop effective action induced by a heavy top in models with an extended Higgs sector. We use the effective action to analyze the top corrections to the ρ parameter and to the Higgs-gauge boson couplings. We show that in models with ρ 6= 1 at tree-level, one does not lose generally the bound on mt from the ρ parameter.
متن کاملRadiative corrections to the decay H → hh in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
We set up a suitable renormalization programme for the one-loop computation of the decay rate Γ(H → hh) in the Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model. We then perform an explicit diagrammatic calculation, including the full contributions from top, bottom, stop and sbottom loops. We find that, for tanβ close to 1 and mH >∼ 2mt, the results can significantly differ from those prev...
متن کاملRadiative corrections to Higgs boson masses in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model.
We perform a systematic study of radiative corrections to the masses of the Higgs bosons in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) augmented by a single gauge singlet, the so-called next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM). Our method is based on the one-loop effective potential and includes effects of top quark, squark, Higgs and Higgsino loops. We discuss the renormalis...
متن کاملRadiative Corrections to γγ → tt̄ in the Electroweak Standard Model
The cross-section for γγ → tt̄ with arbitrary polarized photons is calculated within the electroweak Standard Model including the complete virtual and soft-photonic O(α) corrections. We present a detailed numerical discussion of the radiative corrections with particular emphasis on the purely weak corrections. These are usually of the order of 1–10% for energies up to 1 TeV. For unpolarized or e...
متن کاملRadiative Corrections to WW → WW in the Electroweak Standard Model
The cross-section for WW → WW with arbitrarily polarized W bosons is calculated within the Electroweak Standard Model including the complete virtual and softphotonicO(α) corrections. We show the numerical importance of the radiative corrections for the dominating polarized cross-sections and for the unpolarized cross-section. The numerical accuracy of the equivalence theorem is investigated in ...
